I live on the unceded, traditional and ancestral territories of the hinono’eino’ biito’owu’ (Arapaho), Tséstho’e (Cheyenne), Núu-agha-tʉvʉ-pʉ (Ute), and Očhéthi Šakówiŋ (Sioux) peoples.
Colorado based visual artist.
I am a visual artist, based in Colorado, and am a 2021 graduate of Emily Carr University of Art + Design, Vancouver, B.C.
My artistic practice centers around two dimensional, interdisciplinary articulations of the everyday and earthly. I create abstract and representational compositions utilizing painting and drawing practices as my primary modes of articulation and emphasize repetition and process, relying on close observation and contemplation.
My first studio professor described me, lovingly I assume, as relentlessly tenacious, over coffee and a portfolio review years after his retirement. I hold this adjective as a badge of honor.
